Training
From leadership AI coaching to four AI and data projects at a logistics company
Shared AI literacy for a leadership team, then a pipeline of projects instead of one-off experiments.

The client
An established logistics company operating from several sites, with a leadership team of about ten people.
The challenge
Much of the leadership team’s daily data work was still manual: planning in Excel, information retyped from PDFs and client emails. Generative AI was used here and there, in generic chat tools, with no shared practice. The company wanted its leaders to understand what AI could do for them, and to turn that into projects rather than one-off experiments.
What we did
A two-hour plenary session for the leadership team: generative AI basics, writing good prompts, use cases, risks, and what enterprise AI looks like beyond the standard assistant.
An individual coaching session of about 90 minutes with each leader. Each session started from that person’s daily irritants and ended with a written recap and options, from a simple prompt to a shared agent or a fuller automation.
A single pipeline of opportunities across the leadership team, instead of isolated tests.
The emphasis was on autonomy: leaders left able to use AI in their own work and to judge which ideas deserved a project.
Results
Four follow-on projects came out of the coaching:
Mailbox automation, in production: Power Automate flows classify and reprioritise incoming emails, propose editable replies and send each message to the right team.
A data platform on Microsoft Azure and Fabric, with seven prioritised use cases validated; on-time-in-full (OTIF) reporting is being industrialised.
A Fabric pipeline and Power BI application with shared delivery and warehouse performance indicators.
A structured request for proposal for a new transport management system, built from stakeholder interviews.
